Kosrae Dive Site: The Jacks
An almost vertical wall of cascading coral with a peninsula of reef that juts
straight out to sea with the top of the peninsula at 30 meters in depth.
A huge school of swirling jacks are always to be found around the peninsula
and depending on their mood they can at times notice you and come swarming
up in a swirling mass for a curious fly-by before returning to the depths.
Just to the west of the peninsula at around 18 meters is a large bommie that
features encrusting anemones with moray eels poking their heads out for
a look see. It can be fascinating to see the cleaner shrimp climbing all
morays and into the gaping mouths of the eels.

never know what you will see but numerous times near this site, eaglerays
been seen hovering near stationary as they are being cleaned by the ever
