Kosrae Dive Site: Hiroshi Point
you enter the water and look down the view goes on forever... a bank of pure
white sand interspersed with coral outcrops and some of the clearest
water around the island. This is an incredibly picturesque site that literally
glows from the depths. This is one of the few sites on the island that is
not completely covered by masses of hard corals and this actually
adds to its appeal.
Scattered amongst the corals are many anemones complete with pink anemone
fish that you can spend hours watching as they flutter in and out of the
Hiroshi is so picture perfect that it almost feels like you are diving in
a pristine aquarium.
Whether you start the dive here and then drift along the drop off or finish
your dive here after drifting into it, you can spend a lot of time just
wandering this maze-like area of reef and sand. There are so many wonderful
nooks and crannies to explore you always find that you wish you could stay
longer and could easily dive it again and again.
